CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT
1. Original colours that have faded by wear and Tear and caused by sunlight exposure cannot be restored. Some stains (e.g. grease, sweat, hair oil) may not be entirely removable. We will exercise due care and skill in all cleaning services.
2. Price quotations given over the phone are estimates only. Exact costs will be determined after inspection and confirmed with you before work commences.
3. Emergency & Same-Day Services: Same-day or emergency bookings cancelled after confirmation may incur a reasonable cancellation fee. Where the operator has been dispatched or attended the property and the customer cancels, is unavailable, or denies access, reasonable call-out charges may apply to recover operational and scheduling costs incurred.
4. Call-out charges:
– If our operator attends your property and recommends a treatment that you choose not to proceed with, a call-out fee will apply.
– If you decide to schedule services with the operator after receiving the recommendation, the call-out fee will still apply and will not be deducted from the final service price.
– This fee reflects the costs incurred in providing the operator’s attendance and assessment.
5. We accept responsibility for services performed without due care and skill. However, some pre-existing conditions may affect results. Examples include:
a) Dry Rot – brittle rug backings.
b) Weak Dyes – where sub-standard dyes have been used.
c) Discolouration – caused by urine, acids, alkalis, or prior incorrect cleaning methods.
d) Fading – caused by sunlight, which cannot be rectified.
e) Shading – caused by traffic wear, which may remain visible after cleaning.
f) Latex/Bonding Deterioration – older backings, fringing, or bindings may loosen during cleaning.
g) Texture Changes – some rugs and carpets may alter in appearance due to inherent material properties. We will notify you of any such conditions before proceeding.
6. Goods left with us will be stored safely. Free storage is provided for 7 days after notification of completion. After this period, reasonable storage fees may apply.
7. Any formal complaint must be reported within 24 to 48 hours of service completion. This timeframe allows us to properly inspect the carpet or rug before drying, coverings, or further use alter its condition. Complaints raised after this period may be harder to verify, but this does not limit your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. These conditions cannot be varied except in writing by an authorised representative of the company.
9. I acknowledge receipt of service and goods and liability for charges herein. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
10. Repairs are carried out with due care and skill, but as they address existing damage outcomes may vary and cannot be guaranteed; adjustments must be requested while the operator is onsite as the work is a live job, please check the scope of work and release the operator while onsite as once the operator has left, no further liability is accepted.
11. I have carefully read all instructions and descriptions of the job and price, and I accept them before paying for the service.
12. Flood Damage restoration:
For carpets affected by flood or water damage, our operator will recommend essential treatments, If the customer declines any of these recommended treatments, the operator will not be responsible for any further damage arising from untreated conditions.
Operator Recommendations:
All treatments and services are carried out with due care and skill. If a customer chooses to decline or alter any treatment recommended by the operator, this will be against the operator’s advice, and the operator will not be held responsible for any further damage or deterioration.
IMPORTANT:
We will take reasonable care when handling your personal property, however not liable for any damage when handling If you request us to move any certain items, please state and sign on the front of the invoice.
A SPECIAL INSTRUCTION ABOUT YOUR MATERIAL:
Individual attention has been given to this material. Some stains (cordial, furniture marks, urine, inks, strong dyes etc…) may remain set in. These may appear more visible after cleaning. This is due to the nature of the fibres and dyes, not oversight. If you have questions, please contact us.
We spare no effort to ensure your materials look their best. Your participation is also important: allow ventilation to speed drying, and vacuum once dry to enhance appearance and fluffiness.
